Regulatory status

TSG Taxation Ltd is regulated by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) for accountancy and tax services.

We are supervised by ACCA for the purposes of the Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds (Information on the Payer) Regulations 2017.

We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. We do not provide investment advice, financial planning, or any services that require FCA authorisation. If you require investment advice, we recommend you consult an independent financial adviser authorised by the FCA.

Use of this website

Calculators and tools

The tax calculators and tools on this site are provided for general guidance only. They use current HMRC rates and thresholds but do not constitute tax advice. Results depend on the accuracy of the information you enter and may not reflect your full tax position. Always seek professional advice before making financial decisions.

Professional services

Engagement for professional services (accounting, tax advisory, compliance) is subject to a separate letter of engagement. Nothing on this website creates a client relationship or obligation to provide services.

The engagement letter governs the professional relationship between us and sets out the scope of work, fees, responsibilities, and liability terms specific to your engagement.

Complaints procedure

We take all complaints seriously. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please raise it with us in the first instance by writing to:

We will acknowledge your complaint within five working days and aim to resolve it within four weeks.

Professional indemnity insurance

We hold professional indemnity insurance as required by ACCA’s Global Practising Regulations. Details of our insurer and the territorial coverage of our policy are available on request.

Limitation of liability

We take reasonable care to ensure the information on this site is accurate, but we accept no liability for losses arising from reliance on website content, calculator outputs, or any errors or omissions.

Our liability for professional services is governed by the terms of your engagement letter.

We accept no responsibility or liability to any third party in respect of work carried out for a client, even where that work is disclosed or made available to third parties with or without our consent.

Document retention

We retain client records for a minimum of seven years from the end of the engagement or the completion of the relevant work, whichever is later. This is in line with our professional obligations and HMRC requirements.

After the retention period, records are securely destroyed. If you require copies of your records during the retention period, please contact us.

Electronic communication

We may communicate with you by email and other electronic means. While we take reasonable precautions to protect communications, the internet is not a fully secure medium. We cannot guarantee the security or integrity of information transmitted electronically and accept no liability for any loss arising from interception, corruption, or delay of electronic communications.

We recommend that you do not send sensitive personal or financial information by unencrypted email. If you have concerns about electronic communication, please let us know and we will make alternative arrangements.

Data protection

We are the data controller for personal information you provide to us. All client data is stored in the United Kingdom on our own systems behind a firewall on our local network. We do not store client data on third-party cloud platforms.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, design, calculators, and code — is owned by TSG Taxation Ltd. You may not reproduce or redistribute it without written permission.
